For nearly three decades, small business owners came to me for accounting and tax advice, cash flow issues, scaling struggles, numbers that never seemed to work. But I learned quickly: the numbers were never the real issue. The real problem was patterns.
Undervaluing services. Fear of delegation. Self-sabotage at the edge of growth. All rooted in personal historynot spreadsheets.

I know because I lived it.

After my own journey of betrayal and rebuilding, documented in my Kept Woman book series, I began to recognize the same trauma patterns in my clients that I had to unravel in myself. Their businesses weren’t broken—their survival strategies were showing up at work.
